Luuk de Jong is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands national team.

De Jong began his career at De Graafschap, before moving to Twente in 2009. He won the Eredivisie title with Twente in 2009–10, and was the club’s top scorer in the 2010–11 season. In 2012, de Jong moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach, but struggled to make an impact, and was loaned to Newcastle United in 2013–14.
