Lallianzuala Chhangte, affectionately known as “Chhangte,” is a rising star in Indian football. Born on June 8, 1997, in Lunglei, Mizoram, India, Chhangte has become a key player for both his club, Mumbai City FC, and the Indian national team.
Early Years: Chhangte began his professional career with NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) in 2016. He quickly impressed with his pace, dribbling skills, and eye for goal.
Chennaiyin FC & Delhi Dynamos FC: After two seasons with NorthEast United, Chhangte moved to Chennaiyin FC in 2018, followed by a loan spell at Delhi Dynamos FC in 2019.
Mumbai City FC: In 2019, Chhangte found his true home with Mumbai City FC. He has been a vital part of the team’s success, helping them win the ISL title in 2020 and 2023.
